Handcrafted Baseball Inlay Board

This handcrafted wooden baseball is one of the most unique pieces we’ve made. It measures roughly 14 inches across and is about 2 inches thick.

The stitching is made up of 14 individual bow-tie inlays, along with two strips of walnut to resemble the laces. The outside edge is filled with epoxy to fill every crack and crevice. It also includes a larger bowtie on the back to bring the total to 15.

A lot of time went into getting all the little details right on this one, and it’s not a piece we plan on regularly making because of it. Unless someone specifically requests another, this may very well be the only one we make.

It would make a great display piece for a baseball fan, man cave, office, sports room, or just someone wanting a handmade piece that you aren't going to see everywhere.
